The Babe

The Babe

The Babe was born in Bethlehem,
one winter day.
To a mom and dad and the Almighty.
So tiny and small wrapped up in cloths,
no room in the inn, a stable would be
a cave was his home.
A stone manger his bed, loved more
than anyone could be.
His mom and dad traveled great distance
to have Him HERE,
so many people came to see.

Shepherd came running,
marveled in awe.
At the sight of the Messiah,
prophesy came to life.
Blinded by angels, sung by a chorus.
Instructed to go find the Babe.
Years of waiting, now there that eve.

Months later, wise men came to see,
the child prophesied.
Gold, frankincense, myrrh, gifts from afar.
All meaning something to the boy.
Not a birth in all the world, did people want to see
more than Jesus Christ, the Lord.

Feet

Feet

Big feet, small feet all around
Hairy feet, bare feet
soft, dainty feet.
Rough, worn out feet
Walking down the street.

Fat toes on
fat feet.
Long, thin toes on
skiny feet.
Feet hidden by shoes,
feet shown by sandals.

Freshly painted toes,
refreshed toes after
pedicures.

Worked deet rest at night,
lazy feet rest all day.
Feet that climb,
feet that hop,
feet that jump on the playground.
Feet are all around.

Wilmore Christmas...

*Blog is backdated*

Jackie and I went to Wilmore Christmas this year and met up with my brother and walked around their downtown. It was nice. Not too cold, not rainy or snowy. Christmas was all around. Snacks of all sorts in all the different shops...it was all good.

This was my 8th year at Wilmore Christmas...it's a tradition!

Work-a-holic

Ok, so I realize that I am a work-a-holic but it's near to impossible not to be in this business. For the record, I was not the only teacher at school today working. I strive to learn and impliment what I learn, and when you do that, one must put more work into the work that is already being done...which results in having to work on days off and after school, and on weekends...what can I say...I hope that all this work makes me a better teacher- that is the goal.

I love my job and my kiddos this year a great! They are working so hard and are coming along quite well. They have accepted the fact that we are doing writing workshop this year, and the transition after Thanksgiving went considerably well. They are troopers.

Now that I am home, I have some school things to do as well as house work and maybe I can get something in for me...who knows, I might have to wait on the me time.

New Car

After 2 months of not having a car after my car accident, I finally got the car I was researching. It took 2 months for me to figure out what car I wanted, what color, what items and such...then I had to go and look at the car...can't buy it without looking at it or test driving it. After two car dealerships, I found the car!

After 2 months of begging and asking people for rides here, there, and everywhere, I now can do it on my own...the way I was made to be...lol...I was (and still am) excited about my new car. It is SOOOO "ME"!

I want to thank all those who helped me...the list includes but not limited too...Mindy and her husband, my principal, my parents, my grandparents, my brother, Tim, Ashley, and Lydia. Oh yeah and the internet!

New Doo

I was feeling like I needed a change. I hadn't had a hair cut or color since the bad red coloring of August 06...and I was getting a bit shaggy...so in to JcPenny's and out with a new doo. Brown hair (which is what I was born with) and carmel highlights, and a cool new bob cut...check it out!
