Missing Chris
There's a week and a half (there about) left until Chris returns from his training in Florida. The past 2 1/2 weeks has be horrible being away from Chris. We talk nightly and have even watched the Louisville basketball game "together" over the phone, but it's not the same. I write him daily and send them to him every morning. I can not wait for his return! I am excited because not only does he come home on the 8th, but our 9th month anniversary is on the 9th!

Ring Browsing- Part I
PS- click on the boxes- even though they have red x's...it will take you to the ring websites to show the pictures!
Last night Chris and I went ring browsing!!! I was sooooooooo nervous! We walked in and I didn't know what to do or where to start...good thing Chris is on the ball and he took me over to the rings and he said, "What do you like?" We started with the three stone rings...then went to the single stone, and then back to the three ring (different- more fancy styles)--which is the one just below...

with this ring in a close 2nd...

(which was actually one of the first rings I tried on)
Today, we went to Freidman's Jewelers and they didn't have the selection (in that store) that the last store did, but out of the rings they had, I liked this one...

We looked at rings for a good 20 minutes (the mall was actually closing, so we had to get the information on the first ring above and we had to leave.
I have come to a conclusion...well, several...
1- If I get a solitare stone ring, I like the round cut.
2- If I get the 3 stone (past, present, and future) I like the princess cut.
3- I don't want a high/tall set ring...too dangerous!
4- I am a size 5 1/2. Rings are supposed to be tight (over the knuckle...so it doesn't fall off)...you can tell I don't wear rings.
5- Thick bands are not for me...too weird feeling on my finger...how picky and I!?!?!?!
6- There are way too many rings to choose from!!!
We are going to continue to look at different stores and find a ring I like from each and then narrow it down to a few that I REALLY love and he'll pick it for me and surprise me...prolly around April. The rings are a little more than I anticipated (the three stones go by total weight and the 1/2 carot 3 stone rings are too small...the 1 carot has a 1/2 carot center and then 2, 1/4 stones on the side and that makes it more)...I am learning about this ring stuff! LOL!
